In motion

Origin to destination — quality that travels.

The BestLark idea

A lark in flight above a globe — a light, direct line from a growing region to a destination somewhere else in the world, carrying something worth the journey.

BestLark GLOBAL LLP works across spices, nuts and seeds, dehydrates, naturals and unrefined sweeteners. Different products, one discipline: know the origin, grade honestly, pack for the distance.

We are built for buyers who care what arrives, not just what was quoted — manufacturers, importers, packers and distributors who need the same result on every shipment.

The slogan, taken literally

WorldwideValue

01

Value at origin

Selection begins in the growing belt, where quality is decided long before packing.

02

Value in transit

Moisture control and protective packing so the product that ships is the product that lands.

03

Value on arrival

Grades matched to the buyer's process, so material runs correctly from day one.

Built for distance

Every lot is prepared for the market it is going to.

A grade that works in one market can fail in another. We work backwards from the destination — its standards, its documents, its climate on arrival.

01

Specification first

Grade sheets read before pricing, never after.

02

Season honesty

Crop windows flagged upfront, not discovered later.

03

Documents ready

Lot paperwork prepared alongside the consignment.

Shipping worldwide

Documented, containerised and prepared for long transit.

FCL and LCL consignments packed to the buyer's format, with lot-level paperwork travelling alongside.

Why BestLark

Four reasons buyers keep the line open.

Trust in this trade is not built with adjectives. It is built with repeatable results.

Quality-focused sourcing

We select at origin against the specification a buyer actually needs, not the lot that happens to be cheapest that week.

Consistency across lots

Grading, moisture control and packing discipline so the tenth shipment behaves like the first.

A global perspective

Different markets buy on different scales — colour, count, cut, mesh. We speak in the buyer's terms.

Straightforward dealing

Clear timelines, honest availability and no claims we cannot stand behind.

The journey

Source → Quality → Processing → Worldwide Value

1

Source

Selection from established growing belts, matched to the buyer's grade.

2

Quality

Cleaning, grading and moisture control before anything is approved.

3

Processing

Cut, mesh and format prepared to the specification supplied.

4

Worldwide Value

Packed for the journey and delivered ready for the buyer's line.

Certifications & documentation

The paperwork behind a clean shipment.

Food export is a regulated trade. These are the registrations, standards and lot documents that govern how our consignments are prepared, tested and cleared — hover any card to read what it covers.

FSSAI

Food Safety & Standards Authority of India

Hover to read

FSSAI

India's national food regulator. FSSAI registration governs hygiene, handling and labelling for every food business in the supply chain — the baseline any edible export must satisfy before it leaves the country.

APEDA

Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority

Hover to read

APEDA

The Government of India body that registers and supports exporters of agricultural and processed foods. APEDA registration is what allows a scheduled product to be shipped out of India under official oversight.

Spices Board

Spices Board India — Exporter Registration

Hover to read

Spices Board

A dedicated Ministry of Commerce board for spice exports. Its Certificate of Registration as Exporter of Spices covers cumin, chilli, garlic and related items, with quality-testing support at notified labs.

IEC

Importer Exporter Code (DGFT)

Hover to read

IEC

The ten-digit code issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade. No consignment can legally clear Indian customs for export without it — it is the licence to trade internationally.

ISO 22000

Food Safety Management System

Hover to read

ISO 22000

An international standard for food safety management across the chain — hazard control, traceability and documented procedures — recognised by buyers who audit their suppliers rather than take claims on trust.

HACCP

Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points

Hover to read

HACCP

A preventive system that identifies where contamination could occur — cleaning, drying, moisture, packing — and fixes measurable control limits at each of those points instead of relying on end-product testing.

Phytosanitary

Plant Quarantine Certificate

Hover to read

Phytosanitary

Issued per shipment by plant-protection authorities to confirm the consignment is free of pests and disease. Most importing countries will not release agricultural cargo without it.

COA / Lab

Certificate of Analysis & third-party testing

Hover to read

COA / Lab

Lot-level laboratory reporting — moisture, purity, admixture, colour value, microbiological counts — so the buyer can verify on paper what the sample promised before the container is released.

Product-specific certification and lot documentation are arranged against the destination market and the buyer's requirement. Tell us where the container is going and we will confirm exactly which documents accompany it.

Packing & dispatch

Packed for the distance, not just the photograph.

How a lot is packed decides what survives four weeks at sea. Format, liner, weight and palletisation are agreed before production, never improvised at loading.

Formats

PP / jute bags, multi-wall paper sacks, vacuum and food-grade liners.

Weights

10 / 20 / 25 / 50 kg and buyer-specified retail packs.

Loading

Palletised or floor-loaded FCL, LCL consolidation on request.

Labelling

Lot, grade, origin and destination marks printed to instruction.

Quality & standards

Our approach to quality assurance.

We do not display certification marks we have not earned. What we can describe is the working discipline behind every consignment.

01

Origin selection

Material is chosen against the buyer's grade before anything moves.

02

Cleaning & grading

Machine cleaning and sortex processing available where the specification calls for it.

03

Moisture discipline

Controlled moisture at packing to protect condition through long transit.

04

Packing to requirement

Format, weight and material agreed with the buyer rather than assumed.

Before you enquire

The questions buyers ask first.

What is the minimum order?

It depends on the product and the packing format. Most items move comfortably from an LCL pallet upward; tell us the destination and we will quote against a realistic quantity.

Can you match our existing specification?

Yes — send the grade sheet or a sample reference. Colour value, mesh, cut, count, moisture and admixture limits are all worked to instruction.

How is quality confirmed before shipping?

Pre-shipment samples, in-house checks and third-party lab reporting where the buyer or destination requires it. Lot documents travel with the consignment.

Which products are seasonal?

Several. Where a grade is season dependent we say so before an order is placed, along with the realistic window for the next crop.

Let's begin

Looking for quality that travels the world?

Tell us the product, destination and specification. We'll come back with what we can supply and how it will be prepared.
